Upon arrival, we visited the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills housing sacred pagodas and caves. Then, we explored the enchanting Ancient Town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its charming alleys and colorful lanterns.

On the tenth day, we headed to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. We explored the Imperial City, the Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, all reflecting the historical richness of Vietnam.

On day 11, we flew to Ho Chi Minh City, where we had time to rest and prepare for the next leg of our journey. This stage allowed us to immerse ourselves in the culture and history of central and southern Vietnam, adding even more depth to our 3 weeks in Vietnam Cambodia.

Day 12–14: Ho Chi Minh City – Cambodia – Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

On the day 12 of our 3 weeks in Vietnam Cambodia, we left Ho Chi Minh City and traveled by comfortable bus to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. This vibrant city blends the charm of the past with modern life. We visited the Royal Palace with its iconic Silver Pagoda, as well as the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a powerful and emotional witness to the country’s recent history.​

On day 13, we continued our journey to Siem Reap, gateway to the legendary Angkor temples. Along the way, we admired the peaceful Cambodian countryside with its rice fields and traditional villages. That evening, we enjoyed some free time to explore the town and sample the delicious local cuisine.

On day 14, we began our visit to the breathtaking Angkor site, discovering iconic temples: Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm, where ancient stone meets the roots of towering trees—a magical highlight of our 3 weeks in Vietnam Cambodia.

Day 15–17: Angkor Wat – Tonlé Sap

On the day 15 of our 3 weeks in Vietnam Cambodia, we began our deep dive into the iconic Angkor archaeological site. At dawn, we witnessed the magical sunrise over Angkor Wat, a moment of peace and wonder. We continued to explore Bayon Temple, known for its smiling stone faces, and Ta Prohm, where nature reclaims its space among ancient ruins.

Day 18–21: Sihanoukville – Koh Rong – Beach holiday for 3 weeks in Vietnam Cambodia

On day 18, we left Siem Reap and traveled south to Sihanoukville, a well-known seaside town in Cambodia. Upon arrival, we settled into a beachfront hotel and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the soft white sands, lulled by the sound of the waves.

The next morning, we boarded a ferry to the paradise island of Koh Rong. After a 45-minute ride, we were welcomed by turquoise waters and untouched beaches. We spent the next two days soaking in the island’s beauty — swimming, snorkeling, and discovering vibrant marine life. Our evenings were spent dining by the sea, savoring fresh seafood while watching unforgettable sunsets.

On the twenty-first day, we returned by ferry to Sihanoukville and boarded a flight back home, our hearts full of unforgettable memories. This beach retreat was the perfect finale to our 3 weeks in Vietnam Cambodia, leaving us both relaxed and amazed by the natural wonders of Cambodia.
