Next, you will travel by car to a chain of hills. After approximately an hour, you will reach a location near Kbal Spien, where the journey continues on foot along a white sand path that leads into the jungle. This pleasant walk through the beautiful forest should be noted for its occasional narrow and steep passages.

After about 40 minutes of walking, you will start hearing the sound of a waterfall. Initially, this place may not seem particularly remarkable, aside from its natural surroundings. However, during your 5-day exploration of Cambodia, you will discover that the riverbed and rocks are adorned with carvings representing gods from the Brahma religion. These carvings, dating back to the 11th century, include sculptures of Vishnu, Lakshmi, Hanuman, Rama, and numerous Lingas. These stone carvings were created to sanctify the water and express gratitude to the gods. The sound of a small waterfall will entice you to follow the river further into a small gorge. Using bamboo stairs to navigate a few steep passages, you will eventually discover the stunning waterfall.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the foot of the hill or have lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, you will visit Banteay Samre, a temple renowned for its elaborate architecture and exceptional carvings. You will also have the opportunity to explore a local village and visit the Baray Oriental sites, which were built by Rajendravarman. During our Angkor tour, we will have the opportunity to witness a unique sight: a fishermen's "floating village." This remarkable village floats on the lake and features various amenities such as floating schools and even a floating police station.
